| I definitely need fashion advice from Marilyn! |
I always find myself reading something on the internet, in a magazine or even in the store, getting really into it & then realizing it has nothing to do with me or my situation. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten all worked up about the price of something in the store, only to realize that I don’t even buy that product! Just now, I was anxiously awaiting for something to load on the internet about child sensory activities & found myself getting mad when it was taking forever. I DON’T EVEN HAVE A CHILD! Why was I getting all worked up about it?
This probably could also be said about blogs. Back in the day, I had a LiveJournal (remember those?) & one of the only comments that I ever received on that stupid journal was one calling me a “stalker”. But, aren’t we all stalkers? I mean, I’m out there reading your blog, which has nothing to do with me, commenting about your life & it’s all good? Or, in the case of my anonymous LiveJournal comment, I’m out there reading something you wrote, which may or may not have been the way it actually went down & I’m going to sit behind my computer screen & not even be decent enough to tell you my name, but tell you that you are stalking someone else.
Does this confuse anyone else?
